Personalized Stool

Problem: our youngest couldn't get in and out of her bed easily. We needed a stool!

Speedbump: I found a stool at a Home Sense, but it was painted with another girl's name (whyyyy would someone do this?!)

Solution: Paint a pretty cherry blossom inspired tree over the name!

A pretty enough name, but not ours! :) 

It really wasn't that much effort. I sat it in front of me while the kids watched some movie, and just got it all done!

I used a tube of red paint, a tube of white, and some Golden Iridescent paint in Pearl Fine.

I first painted on the trunk and branches in a shape that would cover up the name without looking too forced.

I mixed a bit of red with the white to create a couple shades of pink, leaving a little white left, and basically painted dots over the branches all over until it looked filled in. That's it!

Much better!
